I am referring following document to set up alert trigger when Virtual machine is not there in maintenance configuration, is it possible by using following document.

The article mentioned will help you to trigger the alert when machine is not available in maintenance configuration and if there is no dynamic group is present.

And if machines are not there in dynamic scope it does not trigger alert. Am I correct ?
