Alerts in Managed instance

I am looking at setting up alerts on the managed instance based of

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/agent/create-an-alert-using-an-error-number?view=sql-server-ver16

where it states it applies to MI

However I encounter error.

I need to setup alerts for error code 823-825

and severity 016-025

How can I achieve that

SQL Server Agent feature alerting is not supported in SQL Database Managed Instance. Review the documentation for supported options.

I am looking at migrating alerts for some error code(823,824,825) and severity code(16-25) that we receive on our On prem SQL to the SQL MI. We see very limited metrics to setup these alerts

Sorry for the issue you are facing with alerts in SQL MI. Seems like this is not a bug after checking internally. I believe that was a misunderstanding from my end.

After going through the following docs, the error number you would like to create alerts on is not supported in Azure SQL MI.
