Unfortunately, directly drawing on the shared screen while using Teams screen share on Mac isn't currently supported. There are a couple of workarounds you can suggest to your client:
- Use the Microsoft Whiteboard: This is the closest option to drawing directly on the screen. In a Teams meeting, your client can open the Whiteboard and everyone can collaborate and draw together.
- Share a different application: Instead of sharing their entire screen, your client can share a specific application they can draw on, like a drawing app (e.g., Preview with Markup toolbar) or a document with drawing capabilities (e.g., PowerPoint with drawing tools).
- Use a third-party annotation tool (Third-party options may vary): There might be third-party virtual whiteboard applications that can be used in conjunction with Teams screen sharing to allow annotation. Explore options that are compatible with Mac and Teams.
