I can consistently reproduce this issue.

Symptom

When I use RD, I can connect to the host only once. If I close the connection and try to connect again. It takes a longer time loading, showing "Encrypting the connection". Then, I can enter the remote desktop window, but only with black screen. After tens of seconds, it throws an error and the RD crashes down.

But if I reboot the host, I can access to the RD. But it only works during my every first attempt. And it doesn't matter about the timing of my connection. No matter I connect it as soon as I reboot or later. I always fail when I connect it again.

Error message

Error code: 0x10b Extended error code: 0x0

    Hello,

There may be something wrong with authentication between your client and MS auth server.

You can disable NLA and then authentication will happen between your server and MS auth server.

    a. Open gpedit.msc applet.

    b. Navigate to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services -> Remote Desktop Session Host -> Security.

    c. Enable Require use of specific security layer for remote (RDP) connections and select RDP as Security Layer.

    d. Disable Require user authentication for remote connections by using Network Level Authentication policy.

    e. Reboot Terminal server.

If the troubleshooting steps were not helpful, there might be an issue with your explorer, or it could be a session leak.
