How do I find the domain name in windows 10 or 11? I tried in the command prompt but had no success.

    Hello,

    Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

    Please open a command prompt as an administrator, in the command prompt, type "whoami" and press Enter. This will return the domain and username in the following format.

    Hello Jimmy2Door,

    Thanks for your question.

    You can do this by following the steps below:

    1. Press Win + I on your computer and navigate to system > about
    2. Under device specifications you will see 'Related': Domain or workgroup.
    3. Click this and it will take you to a system properties panel where you will see the domain. If it shows "WORKGROUP", your computer is not part of a domain.

    Alternatively open Command prompt and run below:

    systeminfo | findstr /B /C:"Domain"
