I just got the azure for students subscription but somehow once I created, I don't have any permission to create a resource group neither drop the subscription, I think It is weird because I am the one who should have all the permission because I created it, I saw some answer that said I should contact my university IT support. but they don't create the subscription, so is there any other thing I could do?

    Hi @Hector Avila ,

please check your permissions and roles on the Azure Subscription:

    User's image

You should have for instance the owner or contributor role assigned to your user or group your user is a member of.

    Hello Hector,

Thanks for reaching out to us, if you created this subscription yourself, you should have the owner role when you check on subscription.

But according to the screenshot you shared in the comment, it seems you should be under a subscription called DST-MSVD-Production. Is this subscription you created?

If yes, please contact Azure Support team - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket/

You can ask support team to check on your subscription status and fix the current assignment issue. If you just created your subscription, this error may be go away naturally after 24 hours.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Yutong
