Hello,
For the Wi-Fi icon missing on your laptop device, try the following steps:
- Disable Wi-Fi sensing. Open the Settings app, then go to Network and Internet. Go to the Wi-Fi TAB and click Manage Wi-Fi Settings. Find Wi-Fi awareness and turn it off.
- If your device can be connected to the network, it is recommended that you reinstall the wireless adapter driver. Open the Device Manager. Locate your wireless adapter, right-click on it, and select Uninstall. When this is done, restart the PC. After the restart, Windows Update will automatically detect the installation of the default driver. Here is an article for your reference.
For the Windows Firewall service, may I know if you can open the firewall application normally? You can try downloading an app to automatically diagnose and fix Windows Firewall issues.
Please let me know if you require further assistance or have any questions.
