I recently ended my employment with my company and followed the required steps to sign out of my work account in the settings. However, my device still prompts me with "This activity is restricted (DLP)".

Does this mean that my computer is still under company management? If so, how can I completely remove my device from the company's management and end the DLP (Data Loss Prevention) restrictions?

    Hello,

It sounds like your device may still be enrolled under your company’s management system, which is why you’re seeing the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) restriction messages. To remove your device from the company’s management and end the DLP restrictions, you can follow these general steps:

Unenroll from Management Software: If your company uses management software like Microsoft Intune, you can unenroll your device through the device’s settings. This typically involves going to Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School, selecting the company account, and choosing Disconnect.

Configure Endpoint DLP Settings: You might need to change endpoint DLP settings to exclude certain paths from DLP monitoring and policy enforcement. This can be done by setting up file path exclusions, which ensures that files in excluded locations aren’t audited or subject to DLP policy enforcement.

Remove Management Profiles: Check for any management profiles installed on your device and remove them. This process varies depending on the operating system and management software used.

Remember to back up any personal data before making these changes, as some steps may result in data loss.

    Best Regards,
