Custom metadata key not detected in indexer

Hello,

I am trying to track deletion in my index as per the steps provided in the link:

I am following - Soft delete strategy using custom metadata , and got stuck in between.
On adding a new metadata to my container
User's image
and then trying to choose this column for track deletion

it is not showing in the list.

Please guide me.
