AFG wants to change the organizational level share to New and Existing. Will this action make direct changes to existing sites, SharePoint and OneDrive, current share settings? Will they all become New and Existing

    Hi @Steve Velpel ,

As these settings are subject to the organization-wide settings for SharePoint, the effective sharing setting for the site might change if the organization-level setting changes.

    There are the following situations:

    1. When the site-level Sharing setting is consistent with the organization, the Site will also change. For example, if you choose Anyone and the organization-level setting is later set to New and existing guests, then this site will only allow new and existing guests. If the organization-level setting is then set back to Anyone, this site would again allow Anyone links.
    2. When the site-level Sharing setting is inconsistent with the organization and the Site-level restrictions are strict, the Site will not change. For example, if you choose Anyone at the organization-level setting and select Existing guests at this site setting, then even if the organization-level setting is set to New and existing guests, the site setting will not change.
