Issue with excessive costs on Azure Function app with Flex Consumption plan

Question

We are having problems with the 'Always Ready' feature on a Flex consumption plan for an Azure Function app. The application is a webhook and we suspect that the cost has exceeded since it has suddenly surged. We used the 'Always-Ready' instance with two instances for an HTTP trigger. If we remove the 'Always Ready' feature without any instances, will the function app still work? Kindly suggest a better approach in debugging and improvising.
