SSRPM Reset Password Link on login - Unable to load Web UI

2024-07-17T14:11:01.0066667+00:00

We are introducing the self service password reset option for users at login, however we have found that it is only working on Windows 11 devices and not Windows 10.

The configuration between the two devices are the same yet one works and the other; when the link is clicked, thinks about it, then loops back to the login screen with the text "Unlock The PC" at the top and puts the pc in a weird locked state that can only be resolved by rebooting the device.

It seems to me that the UI for the SSRPM is being supressed but I am unsure what setting this could be.

Hi @Helina Michalak-Horton (IT Technical Services)

If I understood correctly, you are trying to use SSPR on W10.

Please refer to the link to check the limitations of SSPR:
