Slideshow screensaver with attached NAS files

Question

I have 3 PCs on my network. All run Windows 11 slideshow screensaver, pulling pictures off the same network attached drive. The third works fine for a couple of hours then gets “an error is preventing slide show from running” after a couple of hours.

I’ve checked power settings and all are good

Any suggestions.

Hi Gregg,

Thanks for your post. Based on my research, you may update the Display driver from Device Manager and restart the computer to check if this helps.

1. Press (Windows key + X) and click on “Device Manager”.
2. Expand “Display Adaptor”.
3. Right click on the video driver and select “Update Driver Software”. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
