Connect Azure OpenAI GPT to external APIs

I am currently struggling to connect the Azure OpenAI GPT I created for research teaching assistant to a literature database API. I used Powerautomate however, it kept saying the API for the GPT I build has a 400 error message. Is there any other ways to connect external APIs in this case? I am kind of desperate and this is quite urgent for me. Thank you in advance!

    Are you following any documentation for the steps? Did you check Tutorial: Create external model endpoints to query OpenAI models already?

    To help you better, could you please provide more information about the API you're trying to connect to? What is the API endpoint? What kind of authentication does it require? What kind of data are you trying to send to the API, and what kind of response are you expecting?
