How do I fix the following error that occurs on all secondary sites after upgrading SCCM to 2403?

wsussynmgr.log :

> Sql Exeception was thrown while attempting to delete obselete updates. Error Message: The instance of SQL Server you attempted to connect to does not support encryption.

    Hi, @Seyed Majid Taheri

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

I believe you are using the SQL Server Express version on secondary sites, so your question might be how to enable encryption on SQL Server Express version.

    HI,

Maybe my problem is not related to the update

The disk where the update packages are placed has exceeded 1 TB

I get the following message in the log:

Sql Exeception was thrown while attempting to delete obselete updates. Error Message: The instance of SQL Server you attempted to connect to does not support encryption.

The DB is not encrypted, does it need to be encrypted?

The DB is on an instance Microsoft SQL Server 2022 (RTM-CU12-GDR) (KB5036343) - 16.0.4120.1 (X64) Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows Server 2019 Standard 10.0

SCCM was installed 6 months ago and works correctly.

Is encryption a requirement only for cleanup of obsolete updates?
