Migrate Azure Database for MariaDB servers

Question

We received info about 'Azure Database for MariaDB is scheduled for retirement by September 19, 2025'.

I have some questions about this.

1. As info, We can just migrate from  Azure Database for MariaDB to Azure Database for MySQL - Flexible Server, not MariaDB - flexible server, right  ?
2. If need migrate to MySQL- Flexible Server, Do you need choose MySQL version ? Please refer current MariaBD version: 10.2
3. Please share for us guide to migrate

The recommended migration path is from Azure Database for MariaDB to Azure Database for MySQL - Flexible Server There isn’t an option to migrate to a MariaDB flexible server within Azure.
