Hi All,
I have created a free student account to work on my thesis however the access to some resources like EntraID is restricted. I believe it's being restricted by the university as we have specific roles assigned to access different areas on their portal, OneDrive, etc.
I read some articles that I could switch the directory, or contact the school, etc. Any chance that Microsoft can give me an account that is not impacted by these restrictions? the school is close until September.
I tried to create a free account but it doesn't accept 'prepaid' cards :-|

You can try for a Free trial account that comes with $200 credit to spend in the first 30 days after you sign up. In addition, you get free monthly access to select services.

I understand your situation. Unfortunately, Microsoft cannot provide you with an account that is not impacted by the restrictions set by your university. These restrictions are put in place by your university to ensure the security and privacy of their resources and data.
If you are unable to create a free account using a prepaid card, you can try using a different payment method, such as a credit card or debit card.

the problem I have is that the free account would be valid for one month and my school research work will last until December, therefore I'd need a few debit cards, which I don't have :-|
Do you see any solution there?
I tried with the bank's debit cart but got rejected as it was used a few years back on a certification I had.
Can Microsoft do an exception and accept a prepaid card? I can put a deposit in there if needed. Please, please help me out!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your payment method. Unfortunately, Microsoft does not support prepaid cards for Azure subscriptions. However, there are a few other options you can consider by using a different credit or debit card to sign up for the Azure subscription.
