add users to channel

Hi All,

I have created an Office 365 unified group (******@contoso.com), and the privacy setting for the group is set to private. I have enabled Teams (TestUG) for this group and created three channels within the Team: AMS-Channel, EMEA-Channel, and APAC-Channel.

I need to add users to each channel as follows: AMS-Channel has 500 users, EMEA-Channel has 300 users, and APAC-Channel has 100 users. Each channel has different users. I have a CSV file with the email addresses. How can I import this CSV file and add users to these channels? Please guide me.

By default, a General channel is created. Will these 900 users have access to this General channel (AMS-500, EMEA-300, APAC-100)?

I have set the unified group privacy setting to private. Apart from the group owner, can any other user add members to this Team and its channels?

    Hi @Roger Roger

According to your case description, you need guidance on how to import a CSV file to add users to a channel. Please follow the steps below:

    User's image

The general channel is created by default and all users can access this general channel.

If the team's channel is set to "Private", only the team owner can add members to the team and its channel. Other users cannot add members by themselves.
