Hi, When using Edge, the standard WindowClassName "Chrome_WidgetWin_1" is assigned, but under certain conditions "Chrome_WidgetWin_2" may be assigned. Could you know under what conditions the window class name changes dynamically? -- Kind Regards, Toru

Hi @Toru-san , Microsoft Edge uses "Chrome_WidgetWin_2" on flyout menu . For example, favorites flyout, extension flyout and ellipsis (···) menu. Just to name a few. Hi @Toru-san ,

By "using an extension", I assume you mean the popup menu of an extension. If so, it does belong to Chrome_WidgetWin_2. For WebDriver, you can just treat it as Microsoft Edge itself, where Chrome_WidgetWin_2 is used by flyout menus.

You may regard every flyout brought out by browser UI (buttons like Extensions) as Chrome_WidgetWin_2. Additionally, right-click context menu belongs to Chrome_WidgetWin_2. These are the places I have so far found to be Chrome_WidgetWin_2. You can regard all else as Chrome_WidgetWin_1. Unfortunately, we don't hold a list of the class names. In case you need to check the class name, you can use some tools of window info to help you.

I still can't tell the difference between "Chrome_WidgetWin_1" and "Chrome_WidgetWin_2". I'll look into it a bit more.
