Cannot connect to WIFI

Question

I recently reset my PC and now I can no longer connect to WIFI as it isn't even an option on my task bar. From the research I have done I believe I need to install my wifi driver from the computer manufacturer page. The problem is when I connect using an ethernet cable I have limited access to websites. I can access Wikipedia,google and YouTube but not the manufacturer website (MSI).

          Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Based on the information provided, I suggest you try the following method to reset the network and see if it can resolve the issue.

1. Search for CMD, open and find the Command Prompt (run as administrator)
2. Type the following commands in the pop-up command box (type the next one after each line is complete)

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /registerdns

netsh int ip reset

Winsock Netsh Reset

netsh winhttp reset proxy

Restart your computer to see if the problem can be resolved.

Hi Ben,

Do you know what make and model of the wireless card in your computer or the make and model of your computer.

In the device manager is there an error next to the network card?

If this is a laptop is there a key to switch wireless on or off.
