I have a user who is under deleted user and unlicensed. I want to restore the user with the same mailbox and other things like one drive data etc. My question is, if I will restore the user from deleted users then he will start showing under active users, however currently he is unlicensed, so after licensing it back with the same license which he had earlier, will he get the same mailbox back along with one driver etc.

FYI ,I have performed the content search of the deleted account just to cross check the mailbox size, it is showing the data in the result.

    Hi, @Sanjay Bhakuni - admin

Vasil Michev is right, and he also explains how to recover users. You can refer to the article provided.

I am just emphasizing some information.

The user's mailbox and other data are usually retained for 30 days after deletion (the default retention period, unless otherwise configured), and after the user is restored and assigned the same license as before, the user's mailbox and data will be restored, and the user will be able to access all the services they previously accessed. If more than 30 days have passed, the data may not be recoverable.

Yes, recover the user and assign a license to him, if one doesn't get assigned automatically, and all should be fine. For reference, you can find detailed instructions on recovering users/mailboxes here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/add-users/restore-user?view=o365-worldwide
