How to fix windows firewall error 0x8007042c and remove undetected malware

Question

This all started when i clicked on a sus link and i ended up with a malware, now i dont know if the malwere is here and i need to turn on my windows firewall because i think some of my data have been leaked. I removed some of the malware and viruses, I also tried to start the the firewall from my services and got a 1068 error registry. I tried changing premissons but it just didnt work. So now the main problem is how to know if theres still any malware on my computer and how do i turn on my windows firewall again?

This problem has been going for a while now, hoping someone can help me

The error shows that your firewall can’t start because can’t change your settings, you I guess your firewall service has been disabled, you can try below step to see if it can fix your problem.

Type Win+R >>> enter services.msc >>>find “Windows Defender Firewall “check status is disabled or not.

You can switch it too automatic from disabled

You can use Microsoft Safety Scanner for scan your computer and find the malware, it may will fixed after delete the malware
