Microsoft Monitoring Agent getting updated automatically.

Hello,
Migrating Azure monitoring from MMA to AMA. Azure monitoring agent has been installed on all VMs.
But unable to disconnect the Microsoft monitoring agent, It's getting updated on all VMs itself.
I have tried multiple steps but no luck.
Tried to disconnect from log analytics.
Uninstall the MMA from servers manually.
Uninstall the MMA extension from azure portal but no luck.
Can anyone help here why MMA updating itself, and VMs are getting connected through the Log Analytics workspace?

Open the Azure Portal
In Control Panel, select Uninstall a program.
In Programs and Features, select Microsoft Monitoring Agent, select Remove, and then select Yes.
For Linux, you can uninstall the Microsoft Monitoring Agent (MMA) with the following command:
sudo apt-get remove <package> && sudo apt-get autoremove
In the Azure portal, make sure to remove the MMA extension from each VM completely:
Go to the Azure portal.
Select the VM you want.
Click on Extensions + applications in the Settings menu.
Find the Microsoft Monitoring Agent extension and click Uninstall.
Check if any Azure policies, like Azure Automation, are reinstalling or updating the Microsoft Monitoring Agent (MMA) automatically.
In the Azure portal, go to Log Analytics workspaces. Select your workspace, then click on Virtual Machines. Check if the VMs are connected, and if they are, disconnect them.
Sometimes, you need to restart the VM for changes to take effect. After uninstalling the MMA, restart the VM to apply all settings.
