Hi Team,

We are using the extended stable channel of Microsoft edge, and we have disabled the automatic updates with below GPO/ registry key and still prompts with edge can't update.

The system won't be connected to internet and will update new patches manually when needed. please help or suggest how to disable this pop-up.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate

  • "Update{56EB18F8-B008-4CBD-B6D2-8C97FE7E9062}" --> Dword= "0"

    Hi @Vinod Kumar Reddy Beram ,

    Please note that this is a known issue in version 126, which has been fixed in version 127 and higher versions. Since version 126 is EOS, it’s recommended that you should update to version 127 or higher supported versions.

    If you keep having this issue after upgrading to version 127, please feel free to leave a comment to let me know.
