Can not add firewall rules in QnA maker

Question

Created this QnA Maker a while ago, and I am currently unable to add a firewall rule to this resource. Can I only add the firewall rule after generating a custom domain?

Will generating a custom domain cause any issues with existing communication?

@Mithila Lishan I think this is a resource in a custom VNET. Unfortunately, new QnAMaker resources cannot be created anymore to test this scenario for others. But, AFAIK for cognitive service resources, a custom sub domain needs to be created for turning on firewall rules. See this page from AI services.
