Trusted Signing Identity Validation, no email received to validate address and now submitted documents rejected.

I was advised by Microsoft support that when you create an Identity Validation request, identity is normally validated via an email with a verification link. No such email was received. Two weeks later we were asked to supply documents confirming purchase of the domain. As is common with older Universities in the UK, we own the domain outright and have done so for decades. No purchase was ever made as it was "gifted" to us therefore we can't supply a receipt.

Can we get the verification email sent instead?
