Identity Validation keeps failing for no reason
Like many others on here, I am stuck at the Identity Validation step. I have been trying for weeks now, only to be "Failed" each and every time -- usually after many days of fruitless waiting. And all without a single word as to why. I understand that this feature is in Preview, but I honestly don't understand how the service can be improved and made "Production quality" if there is no way to provide feedback on the process -- either to customers or to Microsoft.
I have submitted Assignment Letters, Domain Ownership papers, and even a screenshot of my homepage, showing all asked-for details about my company and domain. The only thing I haven't been able to submit is my Domain Registrar invoice -- and that's because my provider, for whatever reason, does not include the domain name on the invoice, making it useless for this purpose.
In fact, I'm not sure why any of this is necessary to prove domain ownership, as my domain's contact information is publicly available through WhoIs, and matches what I have entered into my Validation request.
Another data point: I have never received a single email validation. After 8 or 9 requests, not a single email validation was ever sent. I don't know if that's a clue or not. I HAVE received plenty of "Request for more info" and "Fail" emails, however.
