I noticed that there is a report in Insight for sensitivity labels. I've set a few on-prem databases with sensitivity labels and have run scans. I don't see sensitivity labels or information types displayed in the asset and the report shows 0 for sensitivity labels. Without the sensitivity label being displayed in the asset, it is hard to tell whether I'm getting the sensitivity labels that I've set on-prem into purview. Will sensitivty labels and Information types be displayed on the assets. This is an important feature as we assess purview for data governance - Data Security Classification is a large part of our governance.

Sensitivity labels are supported in Azure Purview for the following data types:

Thanks, your graphic helps. I'm testing on one of our Dev servers that has a DBMS Instance of SQL2014 (12). Through the Data Discovery and Data Classification in SMSS 18., I accepted the data classifications suggested for the databases I'm scanning. After a scan of the database, I'm not seeing any results in the Insights report for Sensitivity Labels. It would be good if the sensitivity label is viewable for a column in the data asset within Purview.

The data classification experience in SSMS is different from the one in Azure Purview. If you are using data classification experience in SSMS that data will not show up in Azure Purview. There is no connection between SSMS data classification and Purview. We understand this is confusing and are working on making it a unified experience.
