Hello,
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community forum.
May I know what version of Windows 10 you have? If you are Professional or higher, you can try to do this through group policy.
Here are the general steps:
- Press Win + R to open the run window. Type 'gpedit.msc' and press Enter to open the Local Group Policy Editor.
- Navigate to "User Configuration -> Admin Templates -> Desktop -> Desktop". Find the "Desktop Wallpaper" setting.
- Double-click it, set it to "Enabled", then in the "Options" section, enter the path of the desktop background image.
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog, type cmd and press Enter to open the command prompt. Enter the command: gpupdate /force
Note: If you change Group Policy incorrectly, serious problems may occur. Therefore, make sure to follow these steps carefully. For additional protection, back up Group Policy before you modify it. For more information about how to back up and restore Group Policy, refer to Backing up and restoring Group Policy in Windows.
I hope this helps.
Best regards
Jacen
