I have been toubleshooting an issue for about a month. My webcam keeps flickering/blipping about every 5 - 10 seconds while on a Teams call. I have messed with available camera settings like frequency, I have used different USB web cams, I have tried joining Teams calls through different browsers instead of the app and I have uninstalled then reinstall the Teams app. I use Microsoft Teams with my work organization so IT has been trying to help me with this issue but nothing has works - some things have helped. Any suggestions to get this issue fixed?

    Hi @Emily S

Since you've already tried a variety of approaches, here are a few more suggestions that might help resolve the flickering issue:

    1. Update Drivers: Ensure that your webcam drivers, as well as your graphics card drivers, are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues.
    2. Check Power Management Settings:
    • Go to "Device Manager."
    • Find your USB controllers under "Universal Serial Bus controllers."
    • Right-click each entry and go to "Properties."
    • Under the "Power Management" tab, make sure "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.
    1. Check Power Supply and Connections: Ensure that your USB ports are not overloaded. If using a USB hub, make sure it's powered and not causing issues. Try plugging the webcam directly into the computer.
    2. Change Background Processes:
    • Close unnecessary background applications that might be using the webcam or consuming significant CPU resources.
    • Check for software that might be periodically accessing the camera or conflicting with Teams.
