Hi @Emily S
Since you've already tried a variety of approaches, here are a few more suggestions that might help resolve the flickering issue:
- Update Drivers: Ensure that your webcam drivers, as well as your graphics card drivers, are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues.
- Check Power Management Settings:
- Go to "Device Manager."
- Find your USB controllers under "Universal Serial Bus controllers."
- Right-click each entry and go to "Properties."
- Under the "Power Management" tab, make sure "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.
- Check Power Supply and Connections: Ensure that your USB ports are not overloaded. If using a USB hub, make sure it's powered and not causing issues. Try plugging the webcam directly into the computer.
- Change Background Processes:
- Close unnecessary background applications that might be using the webcam or consuming significant CPU resources.
- Check for software that might be periodically accessing the camera or conflicting with Teams.
