I realize that OpenAI's o1-preview and o1-mini models are available in Azure OpenAI Service through limited access and I've already applied via the website form, see below. Anyone know when it will be generally available? I'm guessing that's my company's best chance for access at this point. Thoughts?

    David Sogn Greetings!

I realize that OpenAI's o1-preview and o1-mini models are available in Azure OpenAI Service through limited access and I've already applied via the website form, see below. Anyone know when it will be generally available? I'm guessing that's my company's best chance for access at this point. Thoughts?

There is no exact ETA on The o1-preview and o1-mini models general availability. The o1-preview and o1-mini models are now available for API access and model deployment with registration as you mentioned.

I would suggest you, please keep an eye on the What's new in Azure OpenAI Service and Azure OpenAI Service models for regular updates.

Incase if you are looking for access updates, please see below.

The application has to go through several checks points before accepting. As mentioned in the form, The Azure OpenAI Service o1 models require registration and are eligible only to customers on the Enterprise Agreement Offer. Subscriptions not under the Enterprise Agreement Offer are subject to denial. We will onboard eligible customers as we have space. Due to high demand, eligible customers may remain on the waitlist until space is available.

Also, make sure that you have checked the below incase if your application is denied.

Possible causes for a denied application:  1) Your subscription is not under the Enterprise Agreement Offer customer 2) You submitted with a personal email (Example: @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, etc.)

I would suggest you, please add maccount@microsoft.com and csgate@microsoft.com to your Safe Senders list to ensure you receive all correspondence pertaining to your registration, including the verification email from Microsoft Vetting Service.

Incase if you have applied for access long back, you can also send an email to csgate@microsoft.com for further updates if any.

Do let me know if that helps or have any other queries.
