Hi, there are some previous Mopria specifications that PaperCut did not follow to the letter, and Microsoft have buttoned this down for Windows 11 connections to UP hosted queues. PaperCut 24.1 does not include the changes now required in the PaperCut connector for the latest Windows 11 release. PaperCut does have a version of the connector in test phase. I expected this to be released soon. If you need the changes now, let me know. Thanks
Microsoft Universal Print - Stopped working on Windows 11 24H2
We've recently updated some of our devices to Windows 11 24H2 and this has causes Microsoft Universal Print (Cloud) to stop working. On any other version of Windows (Windows 10 22H2, Windows 11 22H2, Windows 11 23H2) the user is able to add the Universal Print printer to their device and printer from it.
Since updating to Windows 11 24H2 this has stopped working. The job stays in the device's print queue and says "Sent to print" although nothing comes up in papercut or when they go to the printer. On other versions of Windows the job will leave the device's queue and appear in papercut.

This is a known problem that has been reported by other users as well. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:
1.Restart Print Spooler Service:
2.Update Printer Drivers:
Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers from the printer manufacturer's website.
3.Reinstall Universal Print Connector:
Uninstall the Universal Print connector from your device.
Reinstall the latest version of the Universal Print connector from the Microsoft Universal Print portal.
4.Check for Windows Updates:
Make sure your system is fully updated. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any available updates.
5.You can try this command and check if there's something broken:
Sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

2024-12-10T21:45:19.2333333+00:00 Hi folks out there with PaperCut software.
First off, thanks for using PaperCut and Windows. Two products I fully endorse.
We released our changes for the Windows Mopria requirements in the port monitor.
https://www.papercut.com/kb/Main/ReleaseNoteUniversalPrint#version-2024-12-10-1226
Fixed an issue with IPP conformant printer attributes which prevented Universal Print from working on Windows 11 version 24H2 clients.
Thanks
