Could you please tell me what method you used to create the meeting? Was the problem occurring when creating the meeting in the Teams calendar or in the Outlook calendar?
Scheduling a Teams meeting can be done in a few different ways.
Scheduling a Meeting in Teams
From the Calendar Tab:
- Open Microsoft Teams and go to the Calendar tab on the left side.
- Click on New meeting at the top right.
- Fill in the meeting details such as title, date, time, and attendees.
- Click Send to schedule the meeting.
From a Chat:
- Go to the Chat tab.
- Select the chat with the person or group you want to meet with.
- Click on the Schedule a meeting icon (calendar with a plus sign).
- Fill in the meeting details and click Send.
From a Channel:
- Go to the Teams tab and select the team and channel you want to meet in.
- Click on the Meet dropdown and select Schedule a meeting.
- Fill in the meeting details and click Send.
Troubleshooting Scheduling Form Issues
If the form is not progressing or completing, here are a few simple troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Clear your cache:
- Check your add-ins: If you are scheduling through Outlook, make sure the Teams Meeting add-in is enabled. Go to File > Options > Add-ins in Outlook and make sure the Microsoft Teams Meeting add-in is checked.
- Check for updates: Make sure both Microsoft Teams and Outlook (if you are using one) are up to date.
