Good morning,

I am experiencing some security concerns—well, I hope not.

Over the past few days, I have been receiving constant authentication requests in the app to access my personal account. The login attempts are coming from Moscow, Guarujá (Brazil), Dubai, and other locations. I always deny them.

My question is: is there any risk that this person could gain access? What steps should I take to prevent this from happening?

    Hello @Samuel dos Santos Oliveira,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.

Based on your description, you are receiving authentication requests in the Microsoft Authenticator app when accessing your personal account, with activity originating from locations such as Moscow, Guarujá (Brazil), Dubai, and others.

    Recommended Actions:

    1. Deny unauthorized requests immediately – This is the best way to prevent potential account compromise.
    2. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) – If you haven’t already, enable an additional authentication method to enhance security.
    3. Change your password immediately – This helps secure your account if your credentials have been exposed.
    4. Review recent activity – Check your Microsoft Account Security page for any successful logins or suspicious activity that may indicate unauthorized access.

Is this account linked to Azure tenant?

    • If yes, consider creating a Conditional Access policy in the Azure Portal to enforce MFA.

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
