I have the issue that when uploading Files to the Vector Store the Upload gets stuck in_progress. This happens from time to time and resolves after some days.

Since the issue resolves on its own, it might be related to temporary backend processing delays. You may want to check if there are any network latency issues or throttling limits affecting the upload. Additionally, monitoring the upload process using Azure logs could help identify patterns, such as specific file sizes or formats that trigger this behavior. It is working again, but I am not happy about this to appear randomly, especially when starting to deploy in production. We are repeatedly testing same workflows. Also there are no health monitors or other usefull responses to identify issue on my oen.

I understand your concern, especially when preparing for production. Since the issue resolves on its own without clear error indicators, it seems to be related to backend processing delays. Unfortunately, without detailed logs from Azure, identifying the exact cause is difficult. If the issue persists, escalating it through Azure Support for a deeper investigation might be necessary.

It is almost impossible to get in touch with Azure Support Online. I have to go through a bunch of questions never getting the opportunity to finally send a request. Only once I managed to get to submit the form, where I got semioptimal support, arguing it was a quota issue, which definitely wasn't the case. It is also happening in the Azure Open AI Foundry Portal. I am not happy with this, that is why I cancelled the Dev Support.

Would like to comment on this: I still have this issue: file uploads to vector store occassionaly get stuck on in_progress. It is absolutely not caused by network issues. Region is Sweden central.

Hi, yesterday there was instability of the assistants (API and portal did mot respond on Assistants) , but today everything is fine and much faster. Vector store issue did not emerge so far. thx!
