Check the size of the downloaded file and compare it to what it’s supposed to be if you know. If the file’s smaller than expected, there’s a good chance it didn’t finish downloading properly.
As for Edge opening a casino site on its own, that’s definitely not normal. Go into Edge settings, then under Start, home, and new tabs, make sure it’s set to open a clean, trusted homepage and not some random site.
