I stored several files in the TF card. When I read them later, some of the files were garbled characters? Like the following:y#qP3YUhSMGNITTZMeTl6TXk1aGJXRjZiMjVoZDNNdVkyOXRMM042TVROb1lXbGtaaTlrWVhSaExtcHpiMjRzYUhSMGNITTZMeTl6TXk1aGJXRjZiMjVoZDNNdVkyOXRMM042TW5ZMmJuSm1iQzlrWVhSaExtcHpiMjRzYUhSMGNITTZMeTl6TXk1MWN5MWxZWE4wTFRFdVlXMWhlbTl1WVhkekxtTnZiUzl6ZWpKNU1UVnNZbm92WkdGMFlTNXFjMjl1lHGo0

Is it caused by my TF card? Should I change a TF card?

Hi, I'm Henry! I will help you with this.

If multiple files on your TF card are showing garbled characters, we can separate the issue into two possible causes to make troubleshooting easier:

    1. File Corruption Due to Bad Sectors:
      • Run a disk check (chkdsk /f in Windows) to scan for errors.
      • If your TF card has corrupted files, chkdsk /f can attempt to repair them.
    2. If the issue persists, try the following possible solutions:
      • Backup and Format: If you want to continue using the TF card, back up your data and format it before using it again. Then, try saving and checking the files after formatting.
      • Corruption or Damage: If formatting doesn’t resolve the issue, try using a different card reader or another device to save the files. Then, check if the issue persists.
      • Replace the Card: If errors continue despite trying all the above solutions, consider replacing the TF card.
