Good question!
Windows 11 24H2 enables VBS (with Hyper-V) by default, but your PC isn't running as a virtual machine. Think of it as adding a security guard (Hyper-V) to your house (Windows OS). The house stays the same, but certain valuable items (security features) get extra protection in a safe (virtual containers).
In short, Windows runs natively on your hardware. Virtualization is just used to enhance security, not to create a full VM setup.
