Global Secure Access Slow tunnel initialization

Question

Dear QA community,

Although GSA client is operating well it might take up to 6 minutes from the moment the client is enabled to get connectivity to a private resource . All health indicator show right from the start some green checks .

Is it normal to have such slow tunnel initialization . We are operating from stable and highspeed connectivity . We can reproduce the issue , each time we stop start the GSA client .

To improve performance, we generally recommend placing the endpoint closer to your location. This reduces the overall distance your traffic needs to travel, helping minimize latency. Azure provides multiple global regions, and selecting the most geographically suitable endpoint can significantly enhance connection speed.
