Every browser except edge will not launch

Question

I am having an issue where all browsers other than Edge I try to launch never do. I have tried everything I can think of. Reinstalling the browser, restarting my pc, installing an older version of the browser, turning off my antivirus, I even installed Firefox which was not previously on my computer and even that did not work. The only browser that works on my computer is Edge. I had been using Opera GX fine earlier today but all the sudden it just closed with no crash message or anything. Since then, no browsers have been working. Opera GX (My Main), Google, Firefox, none of them work. Opera shows its initial booting window but then the browser never pops up. Google flashes an undescriptive window on my screen for less than a second. Firefox just does nothing. All other applications seem to be working fine and do have access to the internet. This problem seems to be consolidated to browsers other than Edge only. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what the issue could be?

I've got exactly the same problem - and have tried the same as the previous person. What the **** is going on??? This is actually illegal & anti-competitive

I have this problem, too. I use Chrome, and it was working fine for a while, and then it randomly stopped working one day, while I was using it. I tried deleting it, reinstalling it, I tried repairing it, restarting my computer, and I also downloaded a whole bunch of other browsers, too. I found out that Opera worked (not Opera GX), but after a few weeks, it stopped working, too. Now, I'm stuck using Edge and if the problem isn't solved, it'll interfere with my online courses for school. Edit: After a little bit of digging, I found a video that helped me, or has helped me so far. I'm not sure if this solution will fix my problem for good, but I guess I'll see. Hey. This is still an issue a month later. No clue what it could be. Just tried to download Firefox and try it out and the very first boot up screen happened but then it closed and it won't open again.

See the same thing with Google as you described. Unfortunately I have no expertise with computers.

Update: I tried the solution in the video Carter linked to below in the comments and renaming Chrome worked for me! Here is their link in case something happens to their comment:

I just downloaded and installed Chrome and

it opens and works fine. This apparently is not
