Text Box Problems On Facebook

* NOTE: all issues are when using Microsoft Edge Browser... BUT, my first "Surface RT" had the same exact problem, and it only had the "Internet Explorer" browser...

When I'm typing in a text box, in Facebook (might also happen other places) if I select any of the "type ahead" options that are available, it places the WHOLE word selected... AT THE END of the letters I've already typed, so that the word is now NOT just the "type ahead" selection...

EX: I type in "mot", and the "type ahead" offers up "motor" as well as others... When I touch the "motor", it's immediately ADDED to the end of "mot", so now I have "motmotor"... This happens EVERY TIME I type in a text box, and touch the "type ahead" of my choice...

Another problem that happens EVERY time, is that I have to tap TWICE in any text box to get the cursor to appear, and to get the keyboard to pop up...

    I can not tell you how many times I've switched back and forth in hopes that edge would work. There's always something that makes me go back to explorer. Here I go again. Thanks Diver Steve.

    Thanks for speaking up... Seems like tech help isn't what it used to be...

    My "Internet Explorer" browser doesn't do this on my SP4... Only the Edge browser.

    One new piece of evidence... Using "Internet Explorer" results in none of the issues... Only with the Edge Browser.

    I have the exact same issue.  In fact, I'm wondering how anybody does not have this issue.

    This has continually happened.  The odd thing is it only fails in Facebook using the on-screen keyboard

    hmmmm... Only the Surface Pro 4 (Very odd question for this situation)

    Troubleshooting: multiple restarts, 4 separate resets (including 3 complete total systems refreshes), tried with the type keyboard on and off

    The Device has all of the most recent updates
