I need help with a BitLocker issue on my laptop. When I turn on the system, it suddenly asks for a BitLocker recovery key.

The problem is:

I don’t remember which Microsoft account was linked to the system.

I tried signing into my personal Microsoft account (e.g. ******@gmail.com) but no devices are listed there, and I cannot find my BitLocker recovery key.

How can I find out which Microsoft account is linked to my laptop, or recover my BitLocker key in this situation?

Additional Info:

My laptop brand/model: HP [add your model if known]

If your drive is encrypted with Bitlocker, the only place the Bitlocker Recovery key is automatically stored is on the associated Microsoft account on the link below, be sure to check any Microsoft account that may have been used on the PC and also any work or school account that may be linked to the PC.

Are you able to find the Bitlocker Recovery Key on any work or school account that may have been linked to the PC, if not, do you have a safe backup of all your files
