    Hi Ryan,

Maybe I have a solution for that. In my case, i still see the Windows 10 taskbar after upgrading to build 22000.100 on Beta Channel, and it makes start button function not working. It happened maybe because before all this I was in Dev Channel and did a rollback.

So for the solution, you need to uninstall the update KB5004300, after uninstalling, it should prompt you to restart. When your PC finishes restarting, you'll get a Windows 11 taskbar and the Start button function will work, but the Settings menu will be Windows 10 style. Now all you need is to go back to windows update, check for updates and reinstall KB5004300, and you should have everything updated to Windows 11.

You can uninstall an update by going toSettings>Windows Update>Update history>Uninstall update (Under Related settings).

    Hi Sumit,

I just wanted to add onto this post because without access to the start button you cannot search for the Feedback Hub. I also just received the beta track update and am unable to open the start menu. I am able to open the Settings window through the Taskbar Settings but when you search there for Feedback Hub nothing comes up. So currently I have found no way to provide feedback. I can also only open applications pinned on my taskbar since I cannot open the start menu.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

There have been many reports of this. Can you file feedback and share the link?

Microsoft wants to know more about this problem.

Please log a feedback item in the Hub, you need to file the Feedback entry in Developer Platform>App Deployment. Make sure to capture a trace as well and attach it.

If you send the feedback link to me I'll send it to the relevant people.
