Disabling Copilot

Anonymous
2025-05-16T13:12:03+00:00

I'm trying to disable Copilot on my Tablet and Desktop.

I search from my tablet's browser and I am told to open Bing, click the 3 horizontal lines and select "Copilot Settings"

I see no "copilot settings" in the menu.

Any ideas??

James

Thanks, James. It's the Copilot app. Is there a reason you don't uninstall it directly?

I added a GIF for you.

    Sorry 'bout my previous post.

Copilot is uninstalled on my desktop.

I seem to be having issues on my android tablet with Bing.

I can't find copilot in the apps but it still invokes itself when I search in my browser.

In your first reply you said it was "uninstallable"

    I copied and pasted

    edge://settings/sidebar/appSettings?hubApp=cd4688a9-e888-48ea-ad81-76193d56b1be

Sorry I still don't see any way to disable it there.

Also, the search results on how to disable copilot in Bing tell me to open Bing and click the 3 horizontal lines for the menu and select "Copilot Settings." I still see no "Copilot Settings."

The Copilot app is uninstallable. You can remove it from Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.

For Microsoft Edge, you disable it from the following page, just copy and paste this address:

    edge://settings/sidebar/appSettings?hubApp=cd4688a9-e888-48ea-ad81-76193d56b1be
