Hi, Maria da Graça Dionísio Martins
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Are you saying that you encountered this problem in Edge itself? Are you still able to access that Edge path? If so, please try creating a new Edge profile to see if the issue still occurs under the new profile. If it doesn’t, sign out of your account and then sign in on the new Edge profile to try again.
edge://settings/profiles
If you can no longer access Edge’s internal path, please try cleaning out all files in that directory except for the personal profile folders (such as Default, Profile1, Profile2) to see if the issue still persists.
edge://profile-internals/
(Files and folders under "User Data" should be cleaned up (except for the personal folders shown in the image).
If the problem continues, it might be due to something within your personal profile, such as an extension. In that case, please try obtaining another browser from the Microsoft Store and visit this link to get the Insider version of Edge.

Then, log into your account to synchronize your data, delete the aforementioned personal profile folders (Default, Profile1, Profile2), and try again.
If that still doesn’t work, try rolling back Edge with the following command and then updating it again.
If the issue is not with Edge, could you please describe exactly which app is experiencing this problem?
Best regards
