@Rob S Are you able to reach the website directly using the IP? In your nslookup I don't see the IP address that the domain points to. Can you confirm the A record for the domain and make sure that it is pointing to the right IP address? Thank you!
Azure hosted website has disappeared
Hi all,
We use Azure with DNS nameservers to host a website let's say www.london.systems (anonymised)
For reasons not important, the Azure invoices went unpaid for a few months and our subscription was suspended, and the domain disappeared. Subscription has been reinstated from yesterday at 7am, all is showing OK in Azure, but the domain and website still aren't visible externally. Ie. ping london.systems - could not find host.
nslookup does show:
Non-authoritative answer:
london.systems nameserver = ns1-09.azure-dns.com
london.systems nameserver = ns3-09.azure-dns.org
london.systems
primary name server = ns1-09.azure-dns.com
responsible mail addr = azuredns-hostmaster.microsoft.com
serial = 1
refresh = 3600 (1 hour)
retry = 300 (5 mins)
expire = 2419200 (28 days)
default TTL = 300 (5 mins)
london.systems nameserver = ns4-09.azure-dns.info
london.systems nameserver = ns2-09.azure-dns.net
Do I just need to give it more time? Anything else I can check?
thanks
