    Hi keg,

There should also be a setting in the BIOS for adjusting what the buttons on the computer do, which I assume this keyboard is emulating.

You'll have to check the paperwork that came with your computer for more information on that.

    Hi 19keg62,

    1.    Have you made any recent changes on the computer?

    2.    What happens when you press the “Power” button on the keyboard?

This would happen if the power buttons setting on the computer is not set correctly.

Check if the below settings are set correctly on the computer.

To configure power management in Microsoft Windows XP

    a)   Log on to your computer as an administrator. Click  Start and then click Control Panel

    b)   Click Performance and Maintenance.

    c)    Click Power Options.

    d)   On the Advanced tab, look under  Power buttons

    e)   Make sure on the button  “When I press the shutdown button”  “Do nothing” is not selected.

    Configure Windows XP power management

    Hope this helps!
