Can't find, remove or install java VM on Windows 7

Hello,

An application that was previously working on my Windows 7 laptop now will not start because it can't find Java VM. The application of the Java website that tests Java on my computer doesn't work either. Trying to uninstall Java 7 update  9 fails every time, and keeps me from reinstalling Java software. Is there another way to remove it from my computer so I can reinstall it?

    Hello,

I don't get any error message on the computer.

I had already tried the links to install Java, and the download before I posted there for him. The Windows uninstaller function failed to remove the software, and the downloaded version cannot be installed either.

A friend suggested that I just delete all the Java folders on my C: drive but I am nervous about trying that.

    Thanks.
