Error when saving an attached shared disk to VM

I have an Ubuntu VM and a shared disk. When I go to the VM and try to attach the existing shared disk, it gives me an error without error description when I save the VM.

What I am doing wrong?

    Azure shared disks for Azure managed disks that allows you to attach a managed disk to multiple virtual machines (VMs) simultaneously. Attaching a managed disk to multiple VMs allows you to either deploy new or migrate existing clustered applications to Azure.

    You can also find the error from the activity logs:
    Sign in to the Azure portal.
    Select Monitor > Activity log.
    Use the filters to find the log.
