1) My ISP offers a router scripted for fast throughput. I get 650mbps using their provided Askey DHCP server. I'm told if I want fast speed... Not to bridge this router and The ISP rep sa
2) My affordable router from Asus provides malware intrusion detection particularly from laptops brought into my LAN, like from vendors. Really nice. If I bridge this router I lose the ability to block malware brought into my network.
3) My Windows 2019ess has DHCP enabled.

All present conflicts, upside and downsides.

Hopefully, these three can be in the same room and work this out.

Suggestions?

Thx

Not sure what you're asking here. A windows domain controller and domain members must use domain DNS so use your router DHCP if you like, just make it hand out the correct domain DNS

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Q&A!

Please understand that in this forum, we only provide professional suggestions for Microsoft products. According to your description, do you want us to advice the best choice among Askey DHCP server,Asus DHCP server and windows DHCP server? If my understanding has any problem, please correct it at any time.

Since that we are not familiar with the third-party products, I would suggest you to refer to the official documents about windows DHCP server:

Hope you have a nice day : )
